Italian filmmaker Luciano La Valle, who joined us in February for a fascinating and moving presentation on his documentary, "Mountain Men: Gothic Line 1945," will be back in Colorado November 21 as part of a multi-city tour screening his new short film, "Bob Dole - A Walk Through History." The new 30-minute film tells the story of former Senator and Presidential candidate Bob Dole’s service in the 85th Infantry Regiment of the 10th Mountain Division. On April 14, 1945, Dole was gravely wounded near Castel d’Aiano in northern Italy — an experience that shaped his life, leadership, and decades of public service. This film offers a powerful look at the Division’s service in Italy and the lifelong impact of that experience on one of its most well‑known veterans. Luciano will introduce the screening and host a live Q&A afterward..

The event is free, but space is limited, so you must RSVP.
